Positioned on the southeast coast of the island of Mykonos, the gorgeous Kalafatis bay is a true paradise. It is home to the expansive and quiet Kalafatis beach - ideal for families - with its fine white sand and crystal clear blue waters. Kalafatis is also a popular windsurfing beach thanks the good offshore breeze in the bay. There are several small restaurants and tavernas nearby offering local seafood dishes and delicacies, as well as the Bandanna Italian restaurant right by the beach.
As well as Kalafatis beach, Agavi Villa offers easy access to a host of other fabulous beaches, including the ever-popular Kalo Livadi beach with its lovely clean waters and impressive variety of superb beach bars, restaurants and tavernas like Solimar (offering Mediterranean cuisine with an ethnic flair), and the cosmopolitan Rakkan Japanese restaurant and beach bar. There’s also Agia Anna beach to the south, located in a sheltered bay and an ideal small beach for guests searching for some more privacy. It is also home to the impressive Spilia Restaurant and Cocktail Bar built into the rocks of the bay overlooking the sea.
The Agavi Villa is just 2 minutes away from the village of Ano Mera with all its facilities and amenities, including a large supermarket, several bakeries, a petrol station, and several traditional Greek tavernas. In Ano Mera you will also find Tsaf Mykonos, one of the best seafood restaurants on the whole island and an absolute treat for anyone who wants to experience authentic local fresh fish!
